Task #1: Buy a product from QVC
Today marks the day I made my very first QVC purchase! I've been sucked into the world of home shopping networks since Fall of 2008 when my channel surfing led me to a segment featuring cute leather boots.
I'm the girl who has to shut her eyes and speed walk past the carts in the middle of the mall for fear that I will go home with 5 hair clips putting me in the whole 50 bucks (true story)...This being said it's not surprising that I could not unglue myself from the television set. It was my worst nightmare, THE CART LADIES IN MY LIVING ROOM!!
I didn't purchase the leather boots today, but I did embark upon the wonderful world of the Wen Hair Care System. After seeing infomercial after infomercial and advertisement popups allover my computer screen, I thought it must be a sign. Never-the-less, whether it be a sign from the advertisement gods or Just good pesky sales tactics TASK #1 is COMPLETE!
Hopefully it's forever out of my system because my credit card is always looking a little famished after the holidays and I would very much like it to survive the Christmas Season.
